you have no clue why china economy rose exponentially compared to india , It has nothing to do with human capital or gender equality . The direction that each country took is the reason . For any Manufacturing Industry to succeed it needs great amount of capital without expecting good returns for few years/decade which is what china was successfully able to do which india couldn't which reflects the domination of economic activity from service sector and trading activities which yields quicks return on investment and takes far less capital to get started.
